@About Hog Ringer and Hog Ring

Q1. How much compressed air is required to operate a C-Ringer once (to shoot once)?
A1.

Itfs 133,195 mm3 (133.2 cc).

The compressed air requirements for all housings of the MC6 series (cylinder volume~2) are the same. With respect to air consumption, the definition from the perspective of checking the supply capacity of compressor is appropriate. In this case, the compressed air requirement is calculated as the discharge air volume required for the compressor using the following formula for converting intake air volume at one atmosphere:

Q = 2 x V x ((P + 0.1013)/0.1013) x 1.3 x N

[Q = Required discharge air volume (L/min), V = Cylinder volume of the tool, P = Supply pressure (MPa), N = Operation frequency (every minute) and 0.1013 is 1 atmosphere in MPa.]

For example, if this calculation is for 10 shots/minute at 0.6 MPa supply pressure,Q = 0.133195 x ((0.6+0.1013)/0.1013) x 1.3 x 10 = 11.99 (L/min).

Air consumption per one shot is, that is to say, approximately 1.2 L (1.199 cc) at (0.6 MPa).
